Baby and Child First Aid

Our Baby and Child First Aid Class is a practical and informative 2.5-hour session held in Worsley, designed to give you the confidence to handle a wide range of emergencies involving babies, children, and adults.

Whether you’re a parent, parent-to-be, grandparent, or simply want to be prepared, this course covers essential, life-saving skills in a friendly and supportive environment.

What we cover:

• How to respond to an unresponsive baby, child, or adult
• CPR for babies, children, and adults
• Using an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
• Choking in babies, children, and adults
• Minor head injuries
• Burns, bites, and stings
• Febrile seizures
• Suspected broken bones
• When and how to call for emergency help

This course is suitable for anyone aged 16 or over. Young people under 16 are welcome to attend when accompanied by a responsible adult.

You’ll leave feeling more confident, empowered, and better prepared to act in an emergency.
